How do you create a titan ship. The button does not seem to work

ErikRErickson
Can you tell me how to create a Titan ship?

Requirements for a titan:

  1. 4 researches (and thus 4 military research stations)
  2. 2 capital ship crews
  3. 150 free fleet supply
  4. A titan factory (found under tactical buildings)
  5. Money and resources

Is there an NDA?  If not, I'll be streaming for anyone that can't afford to pre-order.

I do not believe so, otherwise we would've signed one (even if it was a little check box). And considering this is a public beta I don't think so. AAAAnd in the past Stardock never did anything when people posted screenshots and videos from the public betas.

So I'm 99% sure there was no NDA that I forgot about for the public betas, but it couldn't hurt for a response from Stardock on this one

Anyone willing to provide a download size? (By which I mean the size of the file downloaded, not installed on disk.) Want to get in on this, but going to be skirting my bandwidth cap this month.

Long time lurker to this game and forum I just had to write a post I am loving REBELLION so far ok there are a few bugs but that is to be expected it is a Beta after all,,, maybe some warning for those that had been waiting for as long as we have would have been nice as well but was a great surprise cheered me up no end especially as i just had my hotmail account hacked by some no good scum bag but did me a favour as may not have seen this as quick as i did other wise lmao,,    Seeing this in my email cheered me up no end ;0) anyhow i digress having played a couple of games so far the Titans are awesome but only being able to build  one seems like a tease to me but maybe im just greedy lol,,,,  would have liked to see more new ships but hopefully as it says more content will be added on final release. My self i was pleased that Tec was the first side playable as i always play that side either against Ai or lan games against friends not everyones cup of tea i agree but thats just me,, having been playing the sacrifice of angels mod alot lately was disappointed that there was no dynamic movement during combat but am hopeful that will be added upon release of final product other wise it will be a massive fail in my eyes maybe thats just me.  We have been spoilt by all the amazing work by the modders out there but i feel that is key to add that extra edge of realism into the game. The graphics updates are a great improvement to the game as well,, also all the new victory options that have been added could make for some intresting tactical games as well having only played so far with all these turned off so dont no exactly how good they are but will be trying each one shortly ,,,,  also usually I play with pirates off but am thinking they may be useful now that the rebels will employ there help with research lol
all in all i think it is definetly a step in the right direction hopefully more ships and dynamic movement and a few more things i havent mentioned for fear of rambling  will  be in the final game so heres hoping we all get what we want from the final release cheers for now

p.s be nice it is my first post after all

p.p.s i was slightly drunk while writing this lol

Stardock finally found a way to get me to play TEC!

Can't wait to get my hands on Advent!

The game looks great so far!  Kudos to Ironclad and Stardock!  I know this is only beta, but I'm eager to see more of the distinctions between the loyalists/rebels--and is it just me, or does the new TEC cap ship look like a giant stick of RAM?

In the finished game, when you click on the Diplomacy Handshake window, will there be a way to tell which players of a given race are Loyalists and which ones are Rebels?  Will there be different player avatars to distinguish them?

on Mar 02, 2012

I couldn't find this anywhere. Does anyone know what Liberated Resistance does? It's under Diplomacy for TEC Rebels. Says something about liberated rebels meeting at your capital. I have no idea how to proc it.

I do get random pirates from the Pirate Mercenaries thing, but . . . it's totally random. Like I'll save up some fleet supply and 90 supply will just disappear, and I'll get free units. Kind of wish I could adjust the when and where they spawn.

I second this. The avatar pics are the same as the previous TEC in Diplomacy, and to my knowledge other than the Titan and the name of the Corvette, it's pretty tough to tell who is who.
