Greetings all,

We've had to make a slight reschedule of the version 1.1 update for Sins to Wednesday (November 19th).  We're using this extra time to setup some additional download servers so that everyone's update is fast.  We apologize for the delay but feel the extra time will be well worth it.

Sincerely,

Stardock & Ironclad

I understand that you are trying to help us get the most out of our game and I appreciate that. It's just that we were expecting Entrenchment to come out but then that was changed a week before the deadline. Then It was announced that instead of Entrenchment we were going to get 1.1 so we at least had something to look forward to and now even 1.1 has been rescheduled. I very much appreciate what you are doing and that you care about us gamers but it gets kind of depressing to have everything we look forward to pushed back. What I am saying is it would be nice if you could decide these things before you announced them. I know this may not always be possible but it would be nice. Thank you very much for making quality products and having great service.

X2... I've had Entrenchment on my calendar nearly for the past month, and was looking forward to a nice 4 day weekend coming up next week to get my Entrenchment on.  Unfortunately I do not know if that will be happening   Anyway, I'll still keep my fingers crossed that the beta comes out next week.

on Nov 17, 2008

Ugh, owell, we've waited, what, three months, four? we can wait another day.  speaking of the beta...that hasn't started yet right?

on Nov 17, 2008

Beta apparently wont start until after 1.1 (sounded like a week or two after) if I read it right... anyone else confirm?

on Nov 17, 2008

One of the SD/IC's did say something along those lines. I think it was Kyro, but I can't be sure.

on Nov 17, 2008

Honestly, the SD guys should have been more careful about saying what date 1.1 was going to be out if they weren't 100% sure that everything was ready.

Not trying to be harsh here, but praise of their good works without complaint for their screwups isn't helpful I'd wager.

As an IT specialist i can say that a LOT of unforseen stuff can arise during deployment of large scale thingies, like download servers, patches, expasions and so on. And its better be blamed for being late than for making crap - thats for sure.

SD/IC guys - keep it up. We know u can

And i'll just go play World of Goo instead

haha

Reschedule.....

why doesn`t that suprise me at all

Man, there are a couple of games I used to play, when I was young (huh, am I really that old already?) I especially loved Moonstone! That was a great game!

Well, I'll play another Moonstone round until v1.1 is published
