The latest Sins of a Solar Empire Beta 2 update is now available through Stardock Central for our current pre-order customers. Version 0.78.022 contains dozens of improvements and bug fixes for issues that were mentioned in our forums. Please reinstall this version of the beta fresh (don't update) and remember that save games from older versions are not compatible. For more details on what's new, please see the Change Log . As we get closer to release, you'll start to see more of Sins of a Solar Empire both in preview coverage and in magazine ads. The very first appears in the November issues of PC Gamer (available September 19th) and Maximum PC (on sale September 25th). Here's a screenshot of the ad that we wanted to share with everyone.

Due to popular demand, we've decided to keep Sins of a Solar Empire Beta 2 open until July 31st. Anyone who pre-orders the game in July will gain immediate access to Beta 2 and all subsequent betas before Sins' final release in February 2008.
This will be going out to the press tomorrow morning, but we wanted to give the Sins fans an early heads-up. There's a few new exclusive Sins shots for everyone below as well. Gamers who missed the first phase of the Sins of a Solar Empire beta test will soon get another chance to play Stardock and Ironclad's highly anticipated strategy game ahead of its February 2008 release. Beta 2 launches on June 21 for anyone who has pre-ordered Sins of a Solar Empire via TotalGaming.ne...
