Ironclad Games and Stardock have released Beta 2 for the upcoming Sins of a Solar Empire micro-expansion, Diplomacy. Available now via Impulse for pre-order customers, Beta 2 contains major changes to the gameplay mechanics of the expansion, updated tech trees and more.

For a list of the Beta 2 changes, see: https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/371250

Those who want to get into the Diplomacy beta can order from the Store (Sins of a Solar Empire and Entrenchment are required for Diplomacy).

Awesome. The beta 2 looks to be a rather large improvement. I like how the envoys are supposed to function.

Plus nobody can say first

1) Open impulse.

2) Use the blue button in the upper left to open a menu.

3) Click 'show pre-release versions'

4) Check for Diplomacy in the games tab.

If this doesn't work, contact support@stardock.com for additional assistance, because I have no clue what's going on.  Since Beta 2 just opened, there should be a 'safe' window of a week or two were orders occur instantly.
