Sins v1.16 and Entrenchment v1.02 Released

Ironclad Games and Stardock are pleased to announce the release of Sins of a Solar Empire v1.16 and Entrenchment v1.02 today. These latest updates make more gameplay balance changes, bug fixes and more. Registered customers can update their games immediately via Impulse (http://www.impulsedriven.com).

Can i download it for free because i have the original sins game, or is this a mandatory everybody pays ten even those who played before its release deals?

is entrenchment an addon to sins or is it a completely new game?

Entrenchment is a mini-expansion pack, so it's an addon. You can download the Sins update for free of course, but Entrenchment you have to buy. If you played Entrenchment beta then you already have it because you paid for it prior to the beta.
