The Sins of a Solar Empire - Entrenchment beta is now underway!  All pre-order customers are now being charged and should gain access to Entrenchment via Impulse (http://www.impulsedriven.com).  Please note you must have Sins of a Solar Empire v1.12 for Entrenchment to function (also available via Impulse for registered owners).

Please note that due to the huge number of pre-orders, it will take several hours to work through the queue, so please be patient.

Wait, why does it take serveral hours to process the pre-orders into beta-keys?  Are they being done by hand or something?

bug report:  When I try to purchase the game through the impulse program, it rings up as 13.xx

when I buy it through the impulse website, it's the norma 9.95.. strange.

It's still a tease for me, I've got to go do a bit of Christmas shopping now so can't play it anyway =[

I'll try to get a screenshot of the Advent starbase ASAP to ease the pain for those still waiting =]

Well, there goes my night.

Well I'm guessing its becauses this process is dependent on a large number of external parties such as banks, paypal, and credit card companies (visa). If it were a matter of sending out emails to everyone it would be done in a few minutes, but in this case it requires individual confirmations of payment.

Because people are being charged for the order now. It's not just send an email. It's "take the payment info people gave earlier, and bill it. If successful, send the email."

That's why I'm slapping him around with a clownfish. I won't be home for about 3.5 hours
