See, we never doubted your powers of persuasion. Out of curiosity, how many Force Chokes and how much hand waving did it take?

More seriously, congrats on finally being able to make a deal

Yes, great lads, I hope they also mean 'Belgium' with that Europe release.

Wow, cool! Its a shame I have just bought it from the US though, could have saved some money with shipping!

Great news, ICO could use a bit of an influx of players.

Hopefully it will sell well and digital distribution didn't gobble up too much of the demand, so Kalypso can view it as a profitable venture. Securing good retail distribution over in Europe for the expansion would be a nice thing to have upon release, instead of having to wait for it...

Actually, you probably saved money since retail in the EU is likely to charge local retail prices, regardless of the dollar's worth Even with shipping people are saying it's cheaper/about the same price than a local retail game

Thanks, gang.   It's definitely been a long road to this point to find the right retail publishing partner for Sins in Europe.  I've been talking to Kalypso several times a week (by phone no less) for the past month or so and have no doubt about their commitment to do well by the game.

Is Kalypso correctly aware that the anti piracy protection consists in lots of updates? Given the european release date, I guess there won't be any localized version for that date.

I'd love to know more about the process . . like Stardock and Ironclad have done here.  I mean . . how do they determine how many localizations to do?  How are the localizations done?  Do they go through a QA/beta process?

awesome! it'll be really nice to have more players on ICO.

nothing is final so far but there will be defiantly localized versions for the european release date.
I know this for sure regarding the german version. Our team of www.soase.de created already a translated version of SoaSE quite some time ago (was a fan project) and will prolly be used as base for the real localization of Sins by Kalypso.
The german sound recording will also be done in the next weeks so there is nothing to stop Kalypso to release localized version to that announced time.

Btw great work there Stardock and thx Yarlen (+ whoever else) for getting our team in contact with Kalypso. Should be helpfull for both sides.
