Someone should correct him for saying you can't control movement on the z-axis

Perhaps the only worrying thing about the game is just how much the devs listen to their testers. When we make suggestions, guys, we expect to be told that you tried that three years ago and it sucked. Not "Hey, good idea. We'll try that tomorrow."

Sarcasm?

on Jan 30, 2008
Don't you mean what company "doesn't" listen to customers? Nice sarcasm switch.

I demand for this game to be either released one day early, or 5 days late!

genius!

PS: this is not PC Gamer it is PC Zone - you should correct / edit the title since there is huge difference between the 2 mags

hmmm... Name on the review says Tom Francis.

Maybe thats TomChick, from the C*ckBl*ck thread.
Someone should tell him you CAN move the ships on the Z axis.

Hmmm.... It could be more tight but overall pretty good. There are some issues nonetheless.

1. Developer is not listed - it is blank. This is sad for IC.
2. I think the genre is misleading. A sim this is not. RTS should go there methinks or at a minimum added. I would also request the new RT4X moniker. After all that is a KEY marketing point given this title is the genesis of the genre is it not?

On a side note I like the soft "Star Wars" linkage they are using for the teasers. That should get a lot of attention to say the least.

I still believe that he is actually complaining about the developers incorporating player desires. He seriously seems to be legitimately concerned, as if IC is incorporating every idea that comes across. Hey IC!! This game better have a service that orders pizza while I'm playing, and it better have elves and dwarves as playable side!!

I might be insane though....

on Jan 30, 2008
No, he's not complaining
on Jan 30, 2008
Sorry bout that comment earlier that wasn't helpful

He isn't complaining. He is just being sarcastic as many developers will not even blink an eye at suggestions, while SD/IC try to implement them.

People are not use to the idea that the customer's opinion matters and that is what he is trying to get through and that 'scares' him.
