Today Ironclad Games and Stardock Entertainment are releasing minor updates to Sins of a Solar Empire and its micro-expansions - Entrenchment and Trinity/Diplomacy. This patch updates the games to use a new host for the Ironclad Online server which is now hooked into a more powerful backend system for improved performance. Registered customers can update their game via the  GameStop PC Downloads App  (formerly known as Impulse).

Since releasing the version 1.2 update for Sins: Trinity/Diplomacy, a lot of work has gone into a substantial redesign of its gameplay.
