there realy is only one way to make the entire community go into convulsions and you just about hit it (releaseing the game a month early would have probbly done it   )

the interface is soo damn pretty! and it looks much, much better to! and the technology is all well organized! I'm absolutely stunned!

yeah! and wormholes???


*psst, question* how do those work? do they just create long distance phase lanes? are they immediate teleporters or can you jump from anywhere/facing any direction? those will make for some pretty intense strategy!

Wormholes are not just direct phase lanes, they are points of instantanous travel from the entrance to its corresponding exit.  However, you must first research up the tech to safely travel through a wormhole before you can use them.

wow, they sound almost too powerful...

question: do you instantaneously transport from the edges? or the center?

Ill have to see em in action before I pass judgement, but they sound like a little more incentive to build more civic labs a little sooner.

Love the look of the new research trees, btw. It'll be so much more efficient to find that one tech I need right now.

The "Underground" screen is a nice addition, too. Is the progress bar below the pirate an ETA to next raid? How accurate is it? Id rather it were able to fluctuate to a degree, especially cool if you could influence it by posting large bounties.

Wow, I'm amazed, this game has really gotten a huge overhaul, in some cases it looks like a completely new game.

New empire tree, new tech tree, new diplo screen, new map features?!

Is that a tiny bit of the campaign I see?

OMG THIS MAKES ME WANT THIS SOOO MUCH!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait for the full release!

EDIT: Oh and its about time! We can see what the AI think of us! lol. Oh and do ships go in the wormhole or not?

New empire tree, new tech tree, new diplo screen, new map features?!

And much more... Sins is now fully ponified Complete overhaul of everything to bring it up to the level of polish neccessary for final release. Beta will look and feel "dirty" to you in about 28 days.

I can't answer all the questions on the screenshots as there won't be any surprises but yes, you do go into the wormhole and there is some intentional inaccuracy to the Pirate Timer. Once it reaches the skull, it will start flashing and there is a random bit of time where you don't know when they will launch giving everyone a chance to up their bids.
